| 2008-2009 |
| The GLD advocacy group helped a parent group start a GLD program in schools located in the Surrey BC school district. |

| Summer 2007 |
| Lobbied the VSB for a second GOLD program to serve the needs of the East Side School Districts. This new program is now at David Thompson secondary school. With the existing program at Prince of Wales secondary school this doubles the yearly program intake to 16 grade eight students within the Vancouver School District. |
